2nd UK7T Ultra High Field Network Symposium, University, College, Oxford April 7th 2017

The UK7T Network will be organising the 2nd UK7T Ultra High Field Network Symposium at University College in Oxford on Friday 7th April from 10am-5pm. This will provide an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in ultra-high field magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy and to meet with other researchers working on UHF MRI/S.

The meeting will include the following invited talks from leading researchers in ultra-high field MRI:

Tease out the best of your 7T
Oliver Speck, Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg

High field MRI: high precision diagnosis and treatment management
Peter Luijten, UMC Utrecht

Applications and developments of SMS imaging for UHF
David Norris, Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour

along with a number of shorter talks based on submitted abstracts.

If you would like to submit an abstract relating to UHF MRI/S for presentation at the UHF Symposium, please send pdf documents to richard.bowtell@nottingham.ac.uk using the subject line Abstract: 2nd UK7T Ultra High Field Network Symposium, by 12 noon on Weds 15th March.

The title of the file should be Firstname_LastName of the first author.
The abstract should fit on a single page including title, authors, affiliations, text, figures and references. Please use standard fonts such as Arial, Times, or Times New Roman. The font size should not be smaller than 8 pt and the margins should be a minimum of 2 cm.

There is no registration fee for attendance at the Symposium, but the number of attendees is limited to around 90 because of the limited capacity of the lecture room.

If you would like to attend the Symposium, please register your interest at uk7t.eventbrite.co.uk.

Safety Workshop 22 November 2016

On 22nd November, the UK7T Network is organising a workshop on safety issues relating to 7 Tesla MRI. The workshop, to be held in Oxford, will give participants the opportunity to learn about the current best practice in assessing the safety of RF coils at 7T, the impact that parallel transmit hardware has on safety considerations and the challenges of assessing implant safety at ultra high field. There will be plenty of time for discussion throughout the day.

To see the provisional program and to register for the workshop, please visit uk7t.eventbrite.co.uk
